Over 140 Attend PLAN's 21st Anniversary
Dinner!
On a balmy August evening at Beechmont Country Club 140 people
gathered to celebrate our 21st year of providing family based services to those living
with mental illness. Our special guest Ohio State Senator Bob Spada shared his thought on how we all can help to reduce
stigma. He was joined by his wife as they shared his family's journey with mental illness and his efforts
as a legislator. Cocktails we courtesy of Beechmont!
PLAN Recognizes Member Volunteers
Thursday
April 22nd at the PLAN offices 30 Members were recognized for their efforts in participating in the PLAN Volunteer Program.
Plan provides "labor" for other non-profits in the Cleveland area. PLAN volunteers assemble mailers, stuff
envelopes, affix address labels as well as other tasks. The program provides a meaningful activity for our Members and
helps other non-profits to be more efficient and effective.
Tasha Dore, one of the volunteers recognized said "I
enjoy getting together with my friends at PLAN...working on a project and helping other organizations. It gives us something
to look forward to and and gives us an activity that has meaning!"
